St Agnes caters for players with a range of abilities – from beginners to experienced league players. Lack of experience will not be a handicap, everyone is welcome – we pride ourselves on being inclusive – friendly and positive.

We run various competitions throughout the summer season – ladders – doubles, singles – in-house matches between our league teams and men v women. There is even a winter ladder for the hardy.

In addition, there are less serious events like our end of season “Hedgehog” competition (named after Alice in Wonderland) and a “Crazy Croquet” afternoon. Not very competitive – don’t worry -many members prefer to play a social game, not too serious, a friendly chat, a gossip and a cup of tea – and a happy few hours in the sunshine (It is always sunny!)
